Tradepeople rejoice: Tradekart and Uber Direct partner up

Tradekart has partnered up with Uber Direct to bring its tradesperson ecommerce to more people in the UK. It can now expand its services to bigger, more crowded areas like the North West region, Liverpool, London, and Manchester.

Tradekart focuses on delivering materials to tradespeople (like carpenters, electricians or plumbers). This saves them the time, money and hassle of traditionally getting materials. Tradekart says that they can deliver in as little as 1 hour.

Caroline Varga, head of Uber Direct UK says that 50% of consumers are more likely to buy from merchants that offer on demand delivery of DIY products.

Uber Direct, on the other hand, lets businesses add on demand delivery to their website or app. Its a fast and reliable way for a better brand experience and is easy to integrate with your system.

“Tradespeople across the UK waste up to five hours each week collecting materials, so we’ve built the TradeKart platform to give them access to their favourite merchants and on demand delivery from the palm of their hand.

Users can place an order in just a couple of minutes and we then deliver their materials to give them valuable time back”

Alistair McAuley, CEO of TradeKart
