They just announced one billion yuan (over $138 million) investment to attract talented video creators and agencies to their platform.
So, how exactly is JD.com luring these creative minds?
Individual influencers can get weekly bonuses of up to 30,000 yuan for creating content about products in over 20 categories (like electronics to fashion).
The more people watch and buy from your videos, the more you earn through commissions.
They want to get 100 influencers by the end of the year.
They're also offering five million yuan to content agencies that bring a bunch of talented influencers on board.
Last year's Double 11 shopping festival (China's Black Friday) saw video creators on JD.com generate nearly 100 million yuan in sales.
